Study Programme Requirements: Applicants for all Master’s Programme at Leiden University, except:
- Leiden Law School’s LLM (non-advance) and MSc Programmes
- Study Programmes starting in February at the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Sciences and Leiden Law School
Academic Requirements: students must have achieved excellent academic results in previous study programs and must be relevant to the Master’s program for which applying
Scholarship Benefits: The LExS is awarded for the duration of the study program. There are three available levels of awards:
- 10,000 Euros of the tuition fee
- 15,000 Euro of the tuition fee
- Total tuition fee minus the https://www.universiteitleiden.nl/en/education/admission-and-application/masters/tuition-fee
Application Process:
- Apply on https://www.universiteitleiden.nl/en/education/admission-and-application to a Master’s Programme at Leiden University
- Pay the application fee if applicable
Note: it can take up to 2 days to create/submit an application for admission, so start your application well before the LXeS deadline.
- After applying for admission, return to the Apply screen in the online application and click on Scholarships. If you cannot see the Scholarship in your scholarship section, it means either you have not submitted an application or you are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Indicate that want to apply for the LExS then upload a motivation letter in a PDF file of a maximum of 500 words.
- Submit your scholarship application before the deadline.
- If applying for more than one study program and wish to apply for an LXeS for each, you must submit an application and motivational letter within each separate online application for admission.
- Late applications will not be entertained.
