Nevertheless, there are a total of 8 faculties available at the University of Auckland (UoA), and the International Student Excellence Scholarship can be applied to any of the eight faculties.

- Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship, the candidate must fulfill the following requirements: –
- The candidate must be an international student, which means the candidate should neither be a citizen, permanent resident, nor resident visa holder of New Zealand or Australia.
- The candidate should be either a new student (who has received a conditional or unconditional letter of admission from the University of Auckland (UoA)), enrolled for English Language Academy with a conditional or unconditional letter of admission, or enrolled in Masters or PGDip with conditional or unconditional letter of admission, or in the summer start international program with conditional or unconditional letter of admission.
- How to Apply
Applications to apply for the International Student Excellence scholarship at the University of Auckland usually open around six weeks before the closing date for each term.
- Selection Process
- Once applications are open, the candidates must apply for the scholarship to the University of Auckland scholarship office.
- A selection Committee assesses the applications received from all the international applicants.
- In addition to collecting applications, the Selection Committee recommends the scholarships to the most suitable and deserving candidates.
- The University of Auckland awards the scholarships based on recommendations by the Selection Committee.
