The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Program aims to enhance the quality of master’s education through scholarships and mutual cooperation between the European Union and the rest of the world making this world a better place to live in. The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree FIPDes recruits up to 25 well-motivated international students from all over the world to provide quality education, cultural exposure, and other benefits each year. This fully funded scholarship is only for the Master of Food Innovation and Product Design (FIPDes).

Eligible Countries
International students from all over the world are eligible to apply for the EMJMD – FIPDes Scholarship Program.
Host Universities
The following four European Universities collaborate intensively to offer this unique joint program:
– AgroParisTech/Université Paris-Saclay (France)
– TU Dublin, former DIT (Ireland)
– UNINA University (Italy)
– LUND University (Sweden)
Please note that international Students selected for this fully funded EMJMD-FIPDes scholarship program will be thus able to move into three out of the four Universities.

The 25 well-motivated students will be selected from all over the world for this EMJMD-FIPDes scholarship program.
Application Process
The application to apply for the EMJMD-FIPDes scholarship program is made with the https://candidatures-erasmusmundus.agroparistech.fr/index.php . Using this link, an online application is filled to apply for the EMJMD-FIPDes scholarship program.
Eligibility Requirements
International students applying for this EMJMD-FIPDes graduate school scholarship program must upload the following documents using the online portal: –
- International students / all applicants should complete the application form (through the online portal link provided in the application process)
- Passport (should be scanned and expiry date, photograph, and personal details should be clearly visible, European students may use their ID)
- CV (Europass CV format should be used)
- Letter of Motivation (the length of the letter of motivation should be 1 to 2 pages) – The letter of motivation should be addressed to the FIPDes consortium.
- Scanned copy of BSc or equivalent degree
- Translation of Diploma (The Diploma should be in English or translated into one of the languages of the Partner Universities ie French, Italian, or Swedish)
- Transcripts of academic records (Records for each year of the BSc degree / Transcript or equivalent)
- Two signed and stamped Recommendation Letter from the previous educational institution (FIPDes form for Recommendation Letter may be used)
- Proof of place of residence (a residence certificate from municipality registration rules or a certificate from the applicant’s workplace, studies, or training issued by the relevant authority. This proof should be in English or translated into English and must not be older than 12 months).
Selection Criteria
- Proof of English proficiency is required to apply for the EMJMD-FIPDes scholarship program. Any one of the following is required: –
- TOFEL ITP with minimum level 575
- TOEFL Internet-based at minimum level 90
- IELTS Academic minimum level 6.5 (Overall)
- Cambridge Certificates: Cambridge English First (FCE), Cambridge English Advanced (CAE), and Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE)
- Students with English as their mother tongue (a copy of their passport is needed to prove this)
- International Students who have completed (or who are currently completing) a higher education degree with English as a medium of instruction at their institution (an English Proficiency certificate from the university is required to prove this)
- Stay in an English-speaking country for more than a year (a certificate from employer or other as applicable, or a copy of the passport page showing visa to enter and leave the English-speaking country, is needed to prove this statement)
- It is possible that exemptions can exceptionally be made for outstanding students with a lower English proficiency level. It depends on case to case.
Admission Rules and Time Frame
First Round: Open
- Online application Period: before January 22nd, 2024, 14:00 (CET)
- Eligibility check Period: January – February, 2024
- Selection step: end of March 2024
- All international students selected for the EMJMD-FIPDes scholarship program are informed in April (at the least) about the results of the selection process each year.
Second Round:
- Please note that the second round might not open this year.
- No Erasmus Mundus Graduate School Scholarships for international students for the second round.
